Natalie Grant Sings at Dare to Be

WGTS Holds Women’s Event with Natalie Grant

Story by Jerry Woods

WGTS 91.9 hosted more than 2,200 women at the recent “Dare to Be” women’s event with Natalie Grant and Charlotte Gambill at the Hylton Christian Event Center. The station has hosted this event for the past five years. The event seeks to inspire women to “dare to be” the women that God has called them to be. Through music, prayer and the inspirational messages Grant and Gambill encouraged women to live their roles as wives, moms, employees, daughters and friends to the fullest. It’s a celebration of Christian womanhood.

Blanca Vega, Becky Alignay and Stacey Stone--the women of WGTS--welcomed the crowd. They along with everyone in attendance learned that they must “mend the fences” of their relationships and keep “offense” from hurting their lives.

“It is the one night of the year that we celebrate the sisters, wives, mothers, aunts and every other female role that we carry,” shares afternoon co-host Stacey Stone. “We were blessed by the message and the women in attendance who were so joyful about how God created them.”
