Ohio Conference

Mount Vernon Academy (MVA) recently hosted the last alumni weekend to take place on their 122-year-old campus. Titled “122nd Year Homecoming,” the school packed the three-day program with traditional activities, which were marked with boisterous greetings of lifelong friends and more than a few tears that this chapter of their collective history was coming to a close.

Chesapeake Conference

The Ohio Conference recently hosted their first small groups festival at the First Cleveland Spanish church in Cleveland. Between three and six groups attended from each of the district’s churches: First Cleveland Spanish, Ebenezer, Monte de Sion and Roca Eterna.

Kettering College Offers New Three-Year Bachelor’s in Respiratory Care

Kettering College students, faculty, alumni and staff have been working behind the scenes to support federal legislation that would protect funding for nursing schools nationwide. Their grassroots efforts are paying off—as of March 3, legislators from both sides of the aisle have introduced related bills in the United States Senate and House of Representatives.

Kettering College has been selected out of nearly 8,000 postsecondary schools as the recipient of a Best Value School award for the second consecutive year. The award is issued by University Research & Review, a company dedicated to improving the process of how a student selects a postsecondary school.
