Columbia Union Pathfinder Bible Experience Postponed Due to Coronavirus Concerns
Story by V. Michelle Bernard
Wanting to cut down participants risk of being exposed to the coronavirus (COVID-19), organizers of the Columbia Union Conference level Pathfinder Bible Experience (PBE) decided to postpone the event originally planned for March 21 until further notice.
“We will continue to closely watch how the virus continues to spread and its evaluate its impact on our churches and communities. In early April we will reassess the feasibility of rescheduling this event,” says Frank Bondurant, vice president of Ministries Development. “I thank you for your patience and understanding as we attempt to responsibly respond to this crisis. Please understand that our first priority has been and always will be the safety and well-being of our Pathfinders. We thank Sherilyn O’Ffil, our union PBE coordinator, and our planning team for their quick action and due diligence to this very fluid situation.”
