Kettering College Celebrates 100 First Time Certification Pass Rates in Two Healthcare Programs
Story by Courtney Love
Kettering College is celebrating a significant milestone in healthcare education as graduates from two of its programs achieved 100% first-time pass rates on their respective national certification examinations.
All 58 graduates in the college’s Physician Assistant (PA) Class of 2026 passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE) on their first attempt. The college’s Radiologic Technology Class of 2026 also achieved a 100% first-time pass rate on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification examination.
Together, the achievements represent 85 graduates who successfully passed their respective certification examinations on the first attempt, demonstrating the academic preparation and professional commitment of students across both programs.
“These accomplishments reflect what we strive to provide every student at Kettering College: a supportive learning environment, rigorous academic preparation, and the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in healthcare,” said Dr. Lamata Mitchell, president of Kettering College. The results underscore the college’s commitment to supporting students throughout their educational journeys while preparing them to meet the demands of their chosen professions. Through dedicated faculty, collaborative campus support, and rigorous program curricula, Kettering College works to help students progress from the classroom to clinical practice and into the healthcare workforce.
“This achievement is a testament to our supportive campus culture and our PA students’ dedication and hard work. We are so proud of them for achieving this 100% first-time PANCE pass rate!” said Jill-Renae Gulczinski, PA-C, Interim Program Director and Associate Professor. The Radiologic Technology program also celebrated its 27 graduates made up the largest graduating class in the program’s history.
While certification examinations are important professional milestones, Kettering College’s commitment to student success extends beyond test results. The college prepares future healthcare professionals to embody the healing ministries of Jesus while making service a life-calling.
As the graduates begin the next chapter of their professional journeys, Kettering College celebrates their accomplishments and the patients and communities who will benefit from their expertise and compassion.
