Nancy Lamoreaux Named Executive Director of Adventist Community Services of Greater Washington
Story by ACSGW Staff
Adventist Community Services of Greater Washington (ACSGW) has announced the appointment of Nancy Lamoreaux as Executive Director, effective September 1, 2026.
Lamoreaux brings more than two decades of service to ACSGW and 42 years of leadership and technology experience within the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Her service to ACSGW began in 2004 as a member of the board of directors. In July 2023, she became chair of the board, serving until October 2025, when she became co-Executive director with Ken Flemmer.
Prior to her leadership at ACSGW, Lamoreaux completed 42 years of denominational service in leadership and technology positions at the Conference, Union, North American Division, and General Conference levels. This experience provides a strong foundation in organizational leadership, administration, technology, and service.
As executive director, Lamoreaux will lead ACSGW as it responds to growing community needs. ACSGW provides thousands of individuals and families with food, clothing, diapers, hygiene products, and other essential assistance.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving ACSGW and the people who depend on us,” Lamoreaux says. “Our mission is about more than providing necessities. It is about treating every person who comes through our doors with dignity, compassion, and the love of Christ. I look forward to working with our staff, volunteers, Board, churches, donors, and community partners as we continue to strengthen this important ministry.”
