Adventist HealthCare Promotes Planned Hospital at Town Anniversary

Story by Beth Michaels

Adventist HealthCare, based in Rockville, Md., recently helped sponsor Clarksburg Day, which is part of Montgomery County Heritage Days. The event marked the 258th anniversary of the Clarksburg, Md., community, where the health system is planning to build a new medical facility. Adventist HealthCare provided a booth with free blood pressure screenings and information about the planned Clarksburg Community Hospital.

Paula Widerlite, vice president of system strategy and Adventist HealthCare’s chief development officer, threw the first pitch at the first Clarksburg versus Damascus co-ed, adult, slow-pitch softball game and discussed the planned hospital.
