Close to 150 Allegheny East Conference members attended and several presented at the the recent North American Division CALLED Pastors’ Family Convention held in Lexington, Ky.
WGTS 91.9 wrapped up their 2022 summer concert series and ice cream tour on Sept. 9 with an outdoor performance from Christian music singer Riley Clemmons. WGTS hosted about 1,000 listeners behind the town hall in La Plata, Md.
My wife and I returned from vacation to find that our garden had really grown. We had some catching up to do to bind the tomato plants and weed the grow boxes. She is, by far, the main gardener, and for that I am thankful. Our garden illustrates how quickly healthy plants grow.

Frank Perez, who recently retired as Spring Valley Academy's (SVA) board chair, was honored at last school year’s senior commencement and received a plaque of gratitude and appreciation for his leadership and dedication to the school. Perez became chair of the SVA Board of Trustees in 2008 and guided the school through an important debt elimination.
