The Allegheny West Conference (AWC) Education Department is pleased to announce that after months of hard work, the Ramah Junior Academy in Cleveland has successfully gone through the North American Division (NAD)/Columbia Union Conference Accreditation process, and has been awarded six years of accreditation, with a mid-term visit. Principal Celeste Giles, the teachers and supporting staff worked together to achieve this success.

The school day is over, but not for students who attend Allegheny East Conference's Pine Forge Academy (PFA). Junior Joseph Cheatham, a student supervisor for the gym custodians, has “learned to work hard and how to get a job done,” in the PFA Career Readiness Program.
For the 2018–19 academic year, Chesapeake Conference's Spencerville Adventist Academy has more alumni working at the school than ever before. In fact, it has become something of a running joke among staff members who have been here for quite some time that the school is now being run by students. In the high school alone, one-fourth of the teachers are former graduates.
