This spring Blue Mountain Academy (BMA) students performed The Exodus Story, an original opera by Lawrence Galera, director of music. The cast of 88 included soloists, a choir and orchestra, gymnasts and actors, as well as stage, lighting and sound crews. Auditions began in September, rehearsals began in January and the cast finally performed twice in May.
Spring break for many students around the country is full of catching up with friends, forgetting about schoolwork and focusing on themselves. However, for some Shenandoah Valley Academy (SVA) students, that isn’t the case.
Although faced with economic challenges, the Pennsylvania Conference team is committed to continuing to build a strong school system and provide quality Seventh-day Adventist education to children and teens.

This summer Kettering College is launching a brand new initiative–International Medical Missionary or IMM. This program will make it possible for students to spend a summer or full year as a medical missionary to remote medical clinics in places such as Thailand, Africa, or South America.
