Blue Mountain Elementary Students Help Children in Liberia Story by Caron Oswald
Blue Mountain Elementary School (BME) students recently collected school supplies and clothes to send to children in Monrovia, Liberia, an area hit hard by the Ebola epidemic.
More than 105 fourth- through eighth-grade students and teachers from Potomac Conference's Sligo Adventist School (SAS) in Takoma Park, Md., recently invited residents in the surrounding neighborhood to contribute to their annual Fall Food Drive.
This fall four Lehigh Valley Seventh-day Adventist Elementary School eighth-graders conducted an evangelistic series at the school in Whitehall, Pa. Mark Dekle, one of the constituent pastors, trained the stu- dents to preach for the event using the ShareHim series “His Way of Hope.”
