Camp meeting is a powerful time of worship, seminars, music and fellowship for children, youth and adults. This year’s event will be held at Blue Mountain Academy in Hamburg, Pa., June 7–15, 2024, as the Pennsylvania Conference invites people to come “Back to the Altar,” individually and as families.
Janice Hanson prayed for her son, Gregg. She became a Seventh-day Adventist at a tent meeting, along with her husband, Gus; son, Rob; daughter-in-law, Doris; and nephew, Rob Jr. She took her family to church and prayed. Although Gregg was a Christian, he was never baptized.
As the Blue Mountain Academy (BMA) family commences on a journey into the new year, they are delighted to share some exciting changes that have taken place at their beloved institution.
In 2018, the Pottsville church had 55 members with about 25 attending. Today, they have grown to 87 and have welcomed almost 40 new members through baptisms and profession of faith. That’s a 50.9 percent growth in membership!
Delegates at the Pennsylvania Conference 2023 Constituency Session experienced a great morning of praising God for the incredible ways He has blessed them over the last five years.
